South Street Burger

I came here for lunch and got the halal chicken tender burger with fries. Slightly longer wait time than fast food restaurants, but worth it because the food was very fresh. The burger was honestly very delicious and the fries were great as well, not as salty as other places. One compliment to the friendly staff and their workplace, I appreciate that it was very organized and they had separated the tongs for veggie, halal, and other meats. I will definitely be coming back in the future and recommending to other people.

Still unforgettable—this was our very first proper dinner out after moving to Toronto three years ago (we lived just around the corner back then). Their grilled beef is always exceptionally tender and flavorful, thanks to the charcoal grill. We’ve tried both the signature beef burger and the mushroom version—both are great. If you prefer a more subtle cheesy aroma, go for the mushroom (made with milder Swiss cheese). Also don’t skip the sweet potato fries—they’re a $1 upgrade on the set menu and 100% worth it. I still remember the first time we came, Rad(believe he is the owner? ;) heard we had just landed in Toronto and said: “You’ll be back—and you’ll love Toronto.” He was right. Last year and this year, we returned on the same day-and there he was again. Now, every July on this date, as long as we’re in Toronto, we come back-Always will

The food here is incredibly tasty and super fresh. Their burgers are juicy and full of flavor, and the fries are perfectly crispy and fresh too. What really stood out to me was the service – our server, Ava, was amazing! She was so friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. She explained all the different types of burgers in detail and helped us choose the right one based on what we liked. I would definitely recommend trying this place – it’s 100% worth it!

I ordered the mushroom cheeseburger and my husband got the queso crunch burger. I really enjoyed the mushroom burger. It wasn’t too salty or greasy, and I appreciated that I could have the mayo on the side. The queso crunch burger was full of creativity. The tortilla chips added a fun and unique texture that really worked well with the rest of the burger. The fries were just okay, nothing special, but overall we had a great experience. I would definitely come back again.

A Hidden Gem for Burger Lovers! I stopped by this burger spot on a whim, and I’m so glad I did. The burger was incredible — juicy, full of flavor, and clearly made with quality ingredients. I ordered the classic cheeseburger, and everything from the perfectly seasoned patty to the melted cheese, crisp lettuce, and soft, toasted bun was spot-on. You can really tell they care about what they serve. The store itself has a cozy, welcoming vibe with a clean layout and friendly staff who made the experience even better. They were happy to make recommendations and even checked in to make sure I enjoyed my meal. The fries were crispy and golden, and the dipping sauces added a great twist. Prices were fair, and the portion size left me more than satisfied. This place is definitely going on my go-to list for a good, satisfying burger. Can’t wait to come back and try their other specials!

I ordered the Chicken Tender Combo and it was absolutely great! The chicken was fresh, crispy, and delicious, cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The fries were hot and golden, and everything tasted freshly made. I was served by Fatemeh, who was incredibly kind and polite. Her friendly attitude made the experience even better. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a tasty meal and excellent service!

A good thick beef burger spot in the city. You can taste the quality ingredients. I got the halal mushroom and Swiss burger, which I would also highly recommend you get also. Note: I had ordered the burger around 2pm, and ate it around 8pm. As I was fasting today. Still delicious.
